Objectives

For the “Artifex” University of Bucharest, participation in the Erasmus+ programme – Mobility of higher education students and staff supported by internal policy funds represents a strategic priority, fully integrated into its institutional objectives of development and modernization. First and foremost, the university aims, through these mobilities, to strengthen the international dimension of the educational process, by offering students and academic staff the opportunity to interact with diverse academic systems and to acquire intercultural competences relevant to a globalized context. This international openness directly contributes to the formation of graduates capable of meeting the increasingly complex requirements of the European labour market, while also fostering a competitive and innovative academic environment. Another important objective pursued by the “Artifex” University is the enhancement of the quality of teaching and learning through the exchange of good practices among partner institutions. Erasmus+ mobilities facilitate the transfer of knowledge, teaching methods, and professional experiences, allowing the adaptation of curricula to European standards and the integration of innovative approaches into the educational process. At the same time, they contribute to strengthening research capacity and to encouraging joint projects, thereby supporting the development of an academic framework open to collaboration and innovation. The “Artifex” University also attaches particular importance to the institutional dimension of the programme, as active participation in Erasmus+ mobilities increases its visibility and prestige at the European level. Strengthening international partnerships and attracting new academic and professional collaborations are part of the university’s broader objective of asserting itself as a modern institution, fully connected to global networks of education and research. Thus, through this programme, “Artifex” does not only seek to provide individual learning experiences, but also to become an active part of the European Higher Education Area, contributing to the development of an academic community based on dialogue, cooperation, and excellence.
