The primary aim of the project was to contribute to the development and growth of youth work by fostering international cooperation, enhancing the quality of youth programs, and empowering youth workers and young people, particularly those with fewer opportunities. By implementing the project, we sought to create a stronger, more resilient network of organisations dedicated to international youth cooperation, as well as to elevate the professional standards of youth workers, enabling them to work more effectively with diverse groups of young people. The proposed objectives in the activity plan were as follows: Our first objective is to strengthen quality work with diverse youth groups within long-term programs (between 7 and 12 days), where we will use our quality learning process and utilise natural locations and routes, where we can tie the group's adventure to a sustainable learning experience. At the same time, we want to enhance the hard and soft skills of our youth workers, assistants, and volunteers, to efficiently and safely implement the long-term programs mentioned above for youth groups. Our second objective is to create international, national, regional, and local networks made up of organisations active in the youth field to strengthen effective cooperation and spread quality youth work, especially in rural areas, through various meetings, seminars, conferences, and other joint programs. At the end of the year, we organised a conference for the partners to strengthen cooperation and involve new partners in the network, and at the same time, we planned the new projects for the next year. As part of the project, we cooperated with 20 partner organisations from 11 European countries. Our third objective is to increase the professional satisfaction and well-being of youth workers by maintaining their resilience, developing their theoretical knowledge, and improving their practical skills related to quality work with special target groups, such as rural youth, youth with fewer opportunities, Roma youth, youth with disabilities, and mixed target groups. By organising the training courses (TCs), we were able to contribute to the professional and personal development of youth workers both from our organisation and our partners. Professionally, they learned and practiced outdoor methods, experiential learning methods, methods for working with vulnerable youth, fewer opportunities for young persons etc. Our fourth objective is to empower young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, to be role models and change-makers in their local communities to contribute to their social inclusion. We achieved this objective by raising their awareness of their existing skills, developing their social, civic, leadership, and communication skills, changing their mindset towards a sustainable and green lifestyle, and strengthening their resilience through youth exchanges.
