The EcoPulse project was launched as a collaborative effort to address the growing need for environmental sustainability, with a special focus on youth empowerment. The project emerged in response to the pressing environmental challenges faced by society, recognizing the pivotal role young people and youth workers play in creating a more sustainable future. By equipping them with the knowledge and tools to adopt green practices, the initiative aimed to inspire proactive participation in environmental conservation. A key driving force behind EcoPulse was the increasing global awareness of climate change, pollution, and resource depletion. Many organizations and governments around the world had begun emphasizing the importance of integrating sustainable development goals (SDGs) into everyday practices, and EcoPulse sought to complement these efforts by focusing on grassroots education and digital engagement. The project leveraged digital platforms to raise awareness, educate, and foster collaboration among youth across various partner countries. This approach allowed for a broad reach, ensuring that young people, regardless of geographic location, could access important resources and information about sustainability. The digital strategy also facilitated the sharing of best practices and innovation, helping participants stay updated on eco-friendly solutions. Ultimately, the project sought to empower youth workers and young people to make informed decisions about their lifestyle choices, with the overarching goal of reducing their environmental footprint. By instilling a sense of responsibility and action, EcoPulse aimed to create a ripple effect, encouraging sustainable behavior not just among individuals but across communities, organizations, and institutions. By implementing the EcoPulse project, the key objectives were to: O1. To cultivate a profound understanding among 22 youth workers from partner countries regarding the significance of promoting and transferring sustainable practices within the framework of youth work. O2. To empower 41 young people from partner countries to become active citizens and serve as sustainability ambassadors O3. To provide knowledge on the significance of sustainability to 32 young people from the partner countries by organizing a local community event, harnessing the potential of hands-on activities. O4. To raise awareness of 44 young people on the possibilities of prioritising sustenability and responsible management of the resources for a more sustainable and resilient economy O5. To provide knowledge and skills to 42 young people from the partner countries to use digital technologies by spreading materials related to sustainable practices and eco-entrepreneurial possibilities.
