The overall goal of this project was to foster inclusive societies by empowering youth through the development of key competences, promoting environmental awareness, enhancing intercultural dialogue, and ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of participants. As part of our accreditation project in 2023, we implemented three youth exchanges and a training course for youth workers. Each mobility had specific objectives that we aimed to achieve. A1 – Youth Exchange (YE) - My Cultural Curiosity: O1. Facilitated peer and intercultural dialogue among 40 young people from Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Slovakia, through the exploration of each other's ideas, beliefs, customs, non-verbal language, works of art, rituals, and ceremonies. O2. Cultivated empathy, tolerance, and respect for differences among the young participants, contributing to the promotion of more inclusive and harmonious societies. This aligned with European Youth Goal #3: Inclusive Societies. This mobility aligned with accreditation Objective #1 by enhancing key competences among young participants, including those with fewer opportunities. A2 – Youth Exchange - Green Participation in Erasmus+: O1. Raised awareness among participants about their opportunities to engage in their societies to help ensure a sustainable, green Europe. O2. Contributed to the development of key competences, empowering participants to become aware of their learning paths. This mobility was linked to accreditation Objective #1 by enhancing key competences among young participants, including those with fewer opportunities. A3 – Youth Exchange - Step into the Spotlight: O1. Enhanced competences such as communication, teamwork, creativity, cultural awareness, self-discipline, adaptability, and confidence through dance in a transnational context for 40 young people from Romania, Hungary, and Moldova, promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. O2. Improved cultural awareness among the 40 participants, promoting teamwork, self-expression, and cultural understanding through dance workshops and collaborative activities, furthering the goal of inclusive societies. This mobility aligned with accreditation Objective #1 by enhancing key competences through non-formal education and supported Objective #4 by promoting quality education, cultural understanding, participatory activities, and a healthy lifestyle. A4 – Training Course (TC) - Creating a Safe Space in Youth Projects: O1. Enhanced participants' awareness of physical safety, psychological comfort, and emotional support in youth projects, fostering a secure and supportive environment for young individuals. O2. Equipped participants with non-formal tools to cultivate an appropriate attitude towards safety in youth activities. O3. Improved cooperation between youth workers, volunteers, and staff from various organizations and informal groups to organize youth projects under the Erasmus+ framework. This mobility aligned with accreditation Objective #2, which focuses on ensuring continuous professional development for youth workers from organizations dedicated to empowering young people in rural or small urban areas. All these objectives were aligned with our strategic accreditation goals and had a positive impact on participants’ personal and professional development, cultural understanding, and social inclusion. The mobilities also encouraged the adoption of a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. A special focus was placed on young people facing fewer opportunities, promoting equal opportunities and supporting their integration into society.
