For the AIDE Association team, the second year of Erasmus+ accreditation marked a meaningful and transformative journey into the very core of the programme. Over the past few months, we have successfully organized and facilitated three strategically interconnected projects, each marking a significant milestone in our development as an organization active in the youth sector. Our journey began with Merry Erasmus+ Meet Up, continued with Ecochangemakers Green-Joy, and was finalized with Learn Nonformally, which represented an important activity for the professionalization of youth workers. All three projects were implemented in Râmnicu Vâlcea and Ocnele Mari, and were made possible through the support of our strategy from the accreditation. Based on the feedback and evaluation of activities carried out during the first year of accreditation, in the second year we continued to offer personal and professional development opportunities for young people and youth workers within our community, while also aiming to consolidate the organizational capacity of our association. The overarching objective for this period was to increase our visibility at the local level as an organization committed to the empowerment of young people and youth workers through the Erasmus+ programme, by developing and strengthening sustainable local and international partnerships. In this context, we set out to achieve the following specific objectives: - To explore and establish long-term strategic partnerships with at least five organizations from both the local community and other European countries; - To implement the non-formal educational methods developed during the seminar Green Practices – Empowering Eco-Friendly Sharing, organized in Year 1 of our accreditation within a youth exchange involving 30 participants from across Europe, focusing on current environmental challenges and eco-conscious practices; - To inform and engage 20 youth workers, both from Romania and other European countries, on the importance of non-formal education, and to facilitate practical sessions during which they implemented and tested non-formal methods proposed and supported by the participants themselves.
