Objectives

The third year of accreditation was a significant step for the A4ACTION team in supporting young people and experts in the northern part of Ilfov County. Through the three mobilities conducted (two for young people and one for youth workers), we made significant progress toward achieving our objectives. Thus, the mobilities have had a strong and lasting impact, creating new opportunities and contributing to the expansion of A4ACTION's activities and international collaborations. The three mobilities were as follows: BeRight (December 4–13, 2023) - This mobility brought together 29 young people, 6 group leaders, and 2 facilitators from 6 EU countries (Romania, Spain, Lithuania, Italy, Croatia, and Hungary). It aimed to support participants in developing the necessary skills to better understand their rights and responsibilities as young citizens in a democratic European society. BeGreen (March 11–20, 2024) - This mobility gathered 30 young people, 6 group leaders, and 2 facilitators from 6 EU countries (Romania, Bulgaria, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Poland) and was designed to help participants develop skills for adopting environmentally friendly practices in their daily lives. BeWell (May 12–19, 2024) - This mobility focused on developing the skills of 25 youth workers and 2 trainers from 7 EU countries (Romania, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Latvia, and Austria). The mobility aimed to support youth workers in creating a safe and inclusive environment, building strong connections with young participants, and promoting their emotional well-being. Through these three mobilities, we succeeded in collaborating with 8 new partners (2 for BeRight, 3 for BeGreen, and 3 for BeWell), thus contributing to the expansion of our partnership portfolio, a key strategic objective for A4ACTION. Additionally, the A4ACTION team attracted new local volunteers from among the mobility participants and introduced an annual tree-planting event, thus contributing to environmental protection. Moreover, we introduced new non-formal learning methods in the Youth Center's activities, which improved the educational experience for young people and children. The BeRight project inspired participants to write and implement a community solidarity project. On the topic of youth emotional support covered in BeWell, we have initiated discussions with European partners to develop a new KA220 cooperation partnership project, which we aim to submit next year.
