Objectives

This project represents the third year of accreditation in the Youth filed for our organization and represents a key pillar in the development of our work with teenagers. The main achievement of the project is that we stabilized a working approach in three directions: conceptual, educational and logistical. We consolidated our activities on the topic of preventive education and healthy relationships and attained a high level of synergies with Erasmus+ KA2 projects and with other local interventions. We also consolidated the profile of providers for meaningful activities related to prevention work, mainly for teenagers, strengthened the local partnerships and increased the diversity of partners from other countries. Similar to the first two years of accreditation, we worked with teenagers in mixed groups, with a permanent focus on those with fewer opportunities. In this view, we expanded our collaboration with rural areas in Bihor and small urban areas from other parts of the country, but also with our beneficiaries from Bucharest. The topics of this project refer to preventive education, healthy relationships and personal growth among teenagers, with a consistent focus on youngsters who are facing vulnerabilities. It touches right from the beginning the main objectives of the Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation, that came directly from our beneficiaries, such as: occurrence of abusive behavioural patterns related to addictive substances and violence, low level of self-esteem and self-confidence, values, life priorities, decision making, low level of participation and social engagement. Similar to the previous years, we prioritized the importance of resilience and self-esteem, self-awareness as key ingredients for developing a critical attitude towards abusive behaviours and relational hygiene, all with the goal of building a healthy lifestyle among teenagers. The objectives of this project were: - Increasing with min. 50% the number or partners comparing to the previous two years. We aimed at working with more than 10 organizations active in the field of youth. - Achieving a high level of quality for the work delivered on preventive education and healthy relationships for minimum of 30 YW. - Developing a critical attitude of importance of preventive education and healthy relationships for minimum 60 teenagers from six different countries + Romania. The project unfolded in eight activities: one APV, five Youth Exchanges (YE) and two Professional Development Activities (PDA). The total number of participants is 181. The partners are from LV, TK, MK, Georgia, ES, IT, BG, Germany, Armenia, EE, MD, PL, SK, both traditional and new partners. We expanded our partnerships with new organizations, both experimented and newcomers to the E+ Programme. Overall, this was beneficial for us, mainly with partners from Italy, Spain, Latvia and Moldova. Our accreditation plan for 7 years addresses three main directions: direct intervention with vulnerable teenagers and young adults, equipping YW (Youth Workers) with competences and NFL tools, and enlarging the local support by creating new partnerships with relevant stakeholders. We permanently touch these objectives as organization, not only through this project, but with every activity. Overall, we consider that our work is at high standards of quality, with endorsement from private and public bodies, both in Romania and in the partners’ countries. We worked with two categories of partners: project-based and activity-based. We believe that partner organisations have a crucial role, firstly, in selecting the participants whose profile corresponds well with the purpose of the activities and, secondly, in assisting in carrying out the follow-up activities. We continued our cooperation with partners from Latvia, Turkey, Georgia as well as reinforced our collaboration with partners from Moldova, North Macedonia and Armenia. Additionally, we established connections that turned into partnerships with new organisations from Spain, Italy, Bulgaria and Slovakia. The project was planned as a continuation of the second year of accreditation, thus the monitoring was alike, but with more decisional autonomy for our staff. The monitoring was ongoing, with a focus on the KPIs and current tasks, whereas the evaluation was mostly done at the completion of the activities. We continued to assess the engagement of our team and volunteers by questioning the level of satisfaction and compatibility with the tasks. This consolidated our capacity, the decisional autonomy, reduced the time for logistics and monitoring of the follow-up activities. We developed the project assessment methodology comparing with the first two years of accreditation. The most important part of the assessment process is related to the project objectives and results. We explored the impact of the activities on the target groups: teenagers, YW, participant organizations and at the level of relevant stakeholders.
