Objectives

In 2023, the activities built upon the previous years' efforts and achievements, expanding the initiatives set in motion by earlier workplans. The awareness campaigns on sustainability and digital transformation, along with the development of essential digital and green skills among youth and youth workers initiated during the 2021 accreditation, were advanced by aligning them with the central theme of youth participation, which all partners prioritized this year. Additionally, the focus on enhancing partner organizations' capacity, a key objective during the 2022 accreditation, was strengthened, adding the training for trainers and facilitators, identified by partners as a critical learning area, to the efforts of understanding target groups' needs and engaging local communities, worked on in 2022. Networking and sharing best practices remained a priority, with efforts directed toward deepening existing partnerships by involving partners more in logistics and co-training, while also expanding the network to include new collaborations. The internal procedures were also further developed to harness the benefits of digital transformation. In line with the EQYP 2.0 Quality Standard's Project Management pillar, project management tools were upgraded, featuring process clarifications and increased automation to enhance efficiency. Within the 2023 activities, we focused on the accreditation objectives O1, O2, O3, O4 and O6, engaging all 4 thematic portfolios at GEYC as follows: A1.
