"A journey to your future career" was a youth exchange about career guidance, created by the 4 partner organizations: Today Social Skills - Romania, Tou.Play - Italy, You Simply Can Foundation - Poland and Pangea Youth Association - Turkey . We wanted to implement this project because we believe that professionally fulfilled young people are the foundation of a productive society. Our project started a beautiful process of growth in our participants, transforming 28 confused and indecisive teenagers into confident, ambitious and motivated individuals. By exploring self-development and professional depth, our project has benefited both current and future employees. The aim of the project was to help young people overcome their difficulties in choosing a career. Our objectives included: - During the mobility, 28 young people acquired knowledge about self-discovery, professional counseling and work relations with all their implications - knowing them, knowing the different types of people they can interact with, the labor market, knowing the components of an income, salary , of how they can build a CV and how they can present themselves at an interview. - Through outreach activities assisted by a professional, the 28 participants learned to make a good impression as future employees by writing CVs, rehearsing job interviews and practicing public speaking, teamwork and communication skills. - During the mobility, the 28 young people overcame their fears of professional failure by participating in non-formal personal development sessions on mindfulness, stress control and self-motivation.
