Objectives

Climate change is one of the most important problems we face today. The feeling of powerlessness in reversing this process leads to climate anxiety, research shows. Therefore, it is very important to talk about climate change and learn green skills in a way that also addresses mental well-being, in which a healthy relationship with nature plays an important role. Therefore, the project had multiple objectives: - First of all, it aimed to promote an eco-friendly lifestyle through workshops on permaculture, soil protection, and composting, emphasizing the importance of actively combating climate change. - Secondly, it focused on green skills development, encouraging a smaller ecological footprint with workshops on sustainable practices. - Another objective was to address negative digital habits, providing insights on efficient technology use. - It also prioritized Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), aiming to reach participants facing with different problems like economic, social, cultural barriers. - One important object of the project was to enhance resilience and self-awareness through nature-based activities, contributing to mental well-being, especially post-COVID. As a Youth Exchange project, our goal was to enhance transferring skills and knowledge among the participants in non-formal ways and helping them to build relationships and strengthen their sense of a common European identity. Overall, it sought to create a holistic impact on environmental awareness, green skills, digital habits, diversity, and personal well-being.
