Humanity is grappling with the challenges of global warming, a consequence of detrimental human activities. It is crucial for young individuals to grasp the importance of safeguarding nature through practices such as recycling, maintaining air quality, minimizing energy consumption, and engaging in greener initiatives. The RAW GREEN project aimed to cultivate ecological awareness and skills among young people through non-formal and inclusive education approaches. Its objectives included: - Fostering climate change awareness among 40 participants aged 16 to 23 from Romania, Turkey, Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Serbia, both during and beyond the 13-day program. - Educating these 40 young participants on ecological matters and environmental protection throughout the 13-day duration. - Establishing a secure and inclusive setting to educate the participants from diverse backgrounds about inclusion and equal rights, both during and after the 13-day period. - Equipping the 40 young participants from Romania, Turkey, Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Serbia with practical skills to recognize and address harmful behaviors towards nature, ensuring their ability to contribute positively in the future. The RAW GREEN project aimed to foster a secure, inclusive environment that championed gender equality and provided opportunities for all participants, irrespective of background.
