Objectives

The project aimed to achieve several key objectives focused on enhancing youth participation and engagement in local communities following the COVID-19 pandemic. The main objectives included: -Training for Youth Workers: The project sought to equip 25 youth workers with the necessary tools and knowledge about the concept of active participation for young people, especially those with fewer opportunities. This training was intended to help them generate creative solutions for increasing youth participation in their communities over a span of 10 months. -Exploration of Engagement Methods: Throughout the project, youth workers were expected to explore and implement various methods to engage young people. This included fostering dialogue, promoting active citizenship, and empowering youth to take part in community activities. -Motivation and Support: The project aimed to motivate youth workers themselves, ensuring they were better prepared to support young people's active citizenship. The goal was for these workers to share their motivation effectively, leading to increase activities proposed by youth workers and volunteers. -Alignment with European Youth Goals: The training was designed to align with the EU Youth Strategy, specifically targeting Youth Goal #9 (Space and Participation for All) and Youth Goal #3 (Inclusive Societies). This involved creating safe and accessible spaces for youth development and ensuring the inclusion of marginalized young people in societal activities. Overall, the project aimed not only to enhance the skills of youth workers but also to foster a renewed sense of community involvement among young people post-pandemic.
