Through the CHANGE THE STORY Training, we committed to contributing to the development and improvement of participants' knowledge by introducing new inclusive working methods, utilizing digitalization resources, both at the organizational level and among youth workers. The goal was to develop a specific set of inclusive competencies essential for working with medically vulnerable groups. The CHANGE THE STORY Training emphasized increasing social inclusion among children, adolescents, and young people with non-communicable chronic diseases, as well as promoting diversity and equal opportunities. The project objectives were as follows: 1. Equipping 32 youth workers from the 6 participating countries with inclusive non-formal working skills and tools that can be used offline, online, and blended, necessary for promoting equal opportunities and developing social integration skills among children, adolescents, and young people with chronic diseases over an 11-month period. 2. Building a basic set of competencies for the 32 youth workers from 7 participating organizations, necessary to utilize elements from TELE’DRAMA, STORYTELLING, METAPHORIC ASSOCIATIVE CARDS, and to transpose these methods into activities organized in the virtual environment dedicated to children, adolescents, and young people with chronic diseases at risk of discrimination and social exclusion, over a 12-day period. 3. Increasing and/or improving the capacity of the 32 youth workers from 6 European countries to use and adapt resources to the digital environment in order to meet the integration needs of specific target groups in situations of risk, aiming to increase social inclusion over an 11-month period. 4. Enhancing the organizational capacity of the 7 involved organizations from 6 European countries to facilitate access for children, adolescents, and young people with chronic diseases, using a specific and innovative methodology adapted to the target group over an 11-month period.
