The implementation of the project pursued three main objectives: Mapping the methods used in each partner country to guide young Roma and other minorities in career guidance, resulting in a comparative methodological report. Training 15 members of partner organizations in the use of effective career guidance tools and methods. Creating a career guidance toolkit that is relevant and accessible to youth workers and career counselors.
The project was initiated in response to the high unemployment rate and social exclusion faced by young people from minority communities, particularly Roma, in partner countries. We applied to address the critical need to strengthen the employability of young people and promote inclusion through the development of innovative methods. A specific need was the lack of standardized and culturally adapted career counseling and guidance tools that could be used by youth workers in partner organizations.
