The major aim of the NAVY-INS-Tech project was to develop a harmonized framework for teaching and research practices within an International Naval Semester, applying the intelligent technologies and the innovative tools in the European Navy Defence System. The Navy students are now using a harmonized package of digitalized resources contributing to a higher flexibility of the learning process, applicable not only for traditional education, but also for the midshipmen onboard the Navy ships, during their cadetship. The project has been be facilitated by the Strategic Partnership enclosed among the Navy HEI under the EMILYO program, developed in the ESDC framework (Line of Development 11 – International Naval Semester - https://www.emilyo.eu/lod-11-international-naval-semester), for which context all miliary higher education institutions are due to be integrated in compliance with Military Sectorial Qualification Framework (https://www.emilyo.eu/lod-1-system-equivalences). Consequently, the Navy midshipmen have available as output a strong curriculum available for enhancing the exchange program among the specialized Academies and for exchanging the good practices, through the e-campus developed under the project framework.
