The main objective of implementing this Erasmus+ KA131 project was to advance the internationalization strategy of our institution and to strengthen its integration into the European Higher Education Area. Through the project we sought to provide our students and staff with direct opportunities to participate in high-quality mobility activities abroad, thus enhancing their academic, professional, and personal development. For students, our intention was to support them in acquiring new academic knowledge, intercultural competences, and transferable skills that would increase their employability in both local and international labour markets. By encouraging participation in study and traineeship mobilities, we aimed to motivate students to become more open-minded, adaptable, and proactive in shaping their future careers. A particular focus was placed on ensuring equal access to mobility for students from diverse social and economic backgrounds, thus aligning with the Erasmus+ priority of inclusion and diversity. For academic and administrative staff, the goal was to enable participation in teaching and training mobilities, fostering professional development and the exchange of best practices. These mobilities were intended to contribute to innovation in teaching methodologies, to the modernization of curricula, and to the improvement of services offered by our International Office and other support units. At the same time, we expected staff mobilities to strengthen research cooperation, establish new academic networks, and create opportunities for joint projects with partner universities. At the institutional level, as a newcomer to Erasmus+, this was the very first Erasmus+ project implemented by our school, and therefore one of the primary objectives was to launch the Erasmus programme as an integral part of our international activities. The project was designed to establish the foundations for future mobility by initiating cooperation with higher education institutions across Europe and by identifying reliable partners for long-term collaboration. In addition, special emphasis was placed on promoting the Erasmus programme within our academic community in order to raise awareness among students and staff about the opportunities it provides. Through targeted information sessions, guidance, and administrative support, we aimed to familiarize potential participants with the structure, benefits, and procedures of Erasmus mobilities. In this way, the project not only marked the beginning of our institution’s participation in Erasmus+, but also served as a catalyst for building sustainable partnerships and for motivating our students and staff to actively engage in international exchange. Furthermore, the project served as a platform to promote digitalization of administrative processes (such as the use of EWP, Online Learning Agreements and the Beneficiary Module), as well as to contribute to the Green Erasmus priorities by raising awareness of sustainable travel options and environmentally responsible practices.
