Objectives

Aims and objectives for this project were coming from a multidimensional perspective according to research from actual EU recommendations for enhancing creativity and innovation for young people with fewer opportunities. After the initial consortium meeting in 2022, three conclusions came: that youth workers need space for testing innovative approaches and to enhance their competences in concrete innovative techniques/methods which are adaptive to inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities; they need to use creative non-formal educational methods for enhancing competences of young people with fewer opportunities for current labor market in Europe and after all to benefit on the organizational level regarding practical creativity skills which will give concrete and visible learning products. In the end, the third dimension came from previous feedback in projects which were applied to national and international donors and agencies. All of this was completely complemented by mapped consortium needs and (three creative methods together, the lack of mapped skills in formal education and the feedback from young people with fewer opportunities) and researched documents. This project generally was a good starting point to exact creative skills which are needed to young people and youth workers for employability in creative industries: gaming industry, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, etc. General aim of the project was to enhance the competences of youth workers/leaders to use creativity methods in working with young people with fewer opportunities to be active members of their local communities. Objectives of the project: - Raising awareness for social inclusion and its benefits for young people with fewer opportunities on personal, organizational and local community level. - Learning specific targeted creative methods (drama exercises, storytelling and game design) in applying them as flexible and inclusive creative methodologies in the context of addressing mapped issues of young people with fewer opportunities and to raise skills for quality and creative approaches in youth work practice. - Develop critical thinking for questioning personal values and beliefs towards the status of young people with fewer opportunities in EU and non-EU countries, through game design. - Dissemination of the products (at least one game and 3 stories in digital format) and sharing a variety of non-formal learning techniques useful for enhancing employability skills and working with young people from all backgrounds. -Informing participants about the EU Programme Erasmus+ and its opportunities with promotion of EU values and values of youth work (presenting Erasmus+ mobile app and all relevant links). - Testing new innovative skills and methods in the context of European youth work (innovation lab) and giving useful techniques for practical work in the field of new world challenges (environmental issues, war crisis in Ukraine).
