The aim of the project Application of ICT tools in entrepreneurship education is to improve the digital competences of teachers and students, acquire new knowledge and skills in the application of ICT tools in entrepreneurship education, as well as prepare for the modern labor market. Improving digital competences and using ICT tools would contribute to strengthening the formal and informal education of students. Teachers would improve their methodological and didactic skills and modernize teaching by applying modern technologies in entrepreneurship education and other subjects. The benefit of the project is also intercultural learning of students and the development of skills that contribute to better coping in a new and unfamiliar environment. Teachers would implement the acquired knowledge in teaching and learning plans. The implementation of the project will have a positive impact on the overall work of the school, strengthen the network of international contacts and partnerships, and the project results and teaching materials will be included in the school's education strategy. The benefits of the project will also be felt by the local community, surrounding schools, as well as the students' parents.
Our school educates students who attend the subject Entrepreneurship in the final grade. Еxisting textbooks are often too demanding and do not contain enough ICT tools that would make it easier for students to acquire knowledge. That is how the idea came about to participate in a project with schools from European Union countries that actively use modern digital tools in teaching. Our students, members of the entrepreneurial section, are already participating in competitions in the field of entrepreneurship, which further encouraged the need for an innovative approach. The students showed great interest in the application of ICT tools and the availability of teaching materials in electronic form, which was the first sign that we should think about the project. Through its implementation, students will improve their digital competences and achieve better results, while teachers will apply modern teaching methods. The school is already involved in three Erasmus+ projects and has a motivated teaching staff, ready for innovation. The project will also benefit the local community, as schools in the area will be able to use the teaching materials and experiences gained during the project implementation.
