KTH (Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden) participates in Erasmus+, to achieve various objectives and benefits and to follow the strategic work to reach partners within Europe. By participating in the Erasmus+project, KTH strengthened its partnerships with universities and institutions across Europe and beyond. The project enables us to give equal opportunities to students especially. This fosters academic and research collaborations, joint projects, and exchange programs. Erasmus+ facilitates the exchange of students and staff between institutions. Without the scholarship, many students would not be able to access the international opportunity. And with the shorter mobilities we can offer mobility for those who are unable to go abroad for longer periods. The project also gives us the possibility to make horizontal priorities funding different student activities. The Football team, Volleyball Team and a multi-sport competition was sponsored by KTH this to make it available for more students and to even out the costs for those with less money. Another thing we have is a staff choir and this is to open up between departments and to all nationalities working here and we want to achieve an attractive work place for all employees. Erasmus+ mobility enhances academic experience, promotes cultural exchange, and provides opportunities for personal and professional growth. Participation in Erasmus+ often leads to job satisfaction of employees, international experience of students, the development of new curricula, joint degree programs, and innovative teaching methods. This aligns educational offerings with international standards and emerging trends. Erasmus+ projects enhance students achievements, create capabilities by providing funding and fostering international networks. This helps institutions like KTH stay at the forefront of scientific and technological advancements. Active participation in Erasmus+ projects demonstrates a commitment to internationalization, high-quality education, and collaborative research. A part of KTHs internationalization strategy is to further deepen collaborations with other European universities where Erasmus+ is an important tool to make that possible.
