The goal for the project is aligned with Linköping University´s overall strategy map and vision as well as internationalization strategy, aiming to enhance research, education, collaboration, and administrative support through internationalization. The Erasmus+ program is crucial for achieving these objectives, supporting European and international collaborations. Linköping university has chosen some key objectives. The first of them is strengthening internationalization, which means that the university aims to actively participate in European and international initiatives to bolster Sweden and Europe's roles in global knowledge development. The university emphasizes the importance of international cooperation to address global challenges and promote the implementation of Agenda 2030. The second key objective is educational goals: all students, including doctoral students, should develop international and intercultural understanding. Employees should be capable of working in international and intercultural contexts. This is to be achieved by integrating international and intercultural perspectives into education and other university activities. Erasmus+ program is the most comprehensive program that makes it possible to achieve and develop those goals and plays a very important role for the university. A good indicator of this is the increasing number of student and staff exchange and growing interest in participating in the various parts of the program, among both students and staff. This shows development in the right direction according to the strategy for internationalization at Linköpings University and makes a significant impact on university development, particularly in education and research.
