Objectives of the Project: Through our Erasmus+ accreditation, we aim to reach a greater number of young people in our municipality and improve their engagement in open youth work. Our core objective is to increase youth participation, particularly by giving young people more opportunities to shape their free time and actively participate in planning activities. By collaborating with organizations and municipalities across Europe, we seek to develop innovative working methods that enhance youth influence and strengthen their citizenship. A key priority for us is to ensure the inclusion of underrepresented groups. We aim to provide these young people with opportunities to explore, learn, and engage in meaningful exchanges with their peers in European countries. Specific Project Goals for This Period: Increased Youth Participation in Planning: We aim to significantly enhance youth involvement in the early stages of planning our youth exchanges. By doing so, we hope to empower young people to take greater ownership of the process and encourage their active participation. Capacity Building Among Youth Workers: Through staff mobility projects, we will focus on developing the skills of our youth workers by learning from and collaborating with partners across Europe. We have identified a specific need to support youth workers from Ukraine due to the ongoing war in their country. By inviting Ukrainian youth workers, we aim to provide them with resources and strategies that will strengthen their youth work under challenging conditions. Long-term Focus on International Youth Work: To ensure the sustainability of our Erasmus+ activities, one of our objectives is to expand the pool of youth workers with experience in international projects. By involving new staff members each year, we will foster a culture of continuous learning and international collaboration within our organization. Focus on Digital Tools and Broader Objectives: For our youth exchanges, we have chosen to focus on Objective #5 – Increased youth participation with digital tools. In this regard, we aim to explore how digital platforms can enhance participation, particularly among young people who may be harder to reach through traditional means. For our study visits, we have aligned our activities with Objectives 2, 3, 6, and 7. We aim to promote a broader range of activities while ensuring gender balance among participants, fostering inclusivity and a diverse exchange of ideas.
