The project "Role of Youth in Society" took place in Kobuleti, Georgia. With the dates: October 3, 2023 - October 12, 2023, involved 6 organizations from 6 different countries. The main aim of the project was to inspire and empower young people to become more socially adept and active citizens. We wanted to highlight the important role that youth play in society and encourage them to engage more actively in their communities. We came up with this idea because we believe that youth are important for the future of our societies. Young people have the potential to bring about positive changes because of their energy, creativity, and fresh perspectives. All partners agreed that addressing social issues and fostering active citizenship among youth is essential for building stronger, more inclusive communities. This topic is important for society because social issues like bullying, radicalization, racism, and discrimination are prevalent and can harm the social fabric. By raising awareness and equipping young people with the skills and knowledge to address these issues, we can promote a more tolerant, cooperative, and inclusive society. Encouraging youth to take an active role in their communities helps to ensure that these values are upheld and spread. Objectives: We aimed to improve participants' soft skills, such as communication, teamwork, and leadership, and social skills to help them interact better in various social settings. One of our goals was to help participants integrate their individuality into society, promoting a sense of belonging and active participation in community life. The project aimed to raise awareness about important social issues like bullying, radicalization, racism, and discrimination, and how these issues affect communities. With this project we wanted to foster tolerance and cooperation among participants, reducing prejudice and encouraging them to work together despite their differences. Encouraging participants to take initiative and engage in more social activities, promoting the idea of active citizenship and involvement in community projects. We wanted to give participants practical tools and support to develop follow-up initiatives in their communities, helping them address youth social issues effectively. The project also aimed to promote the opportunities offered by Erasmus+, encouraging participants to engage in further learning and development through this program. Despite of the fact our objectives were a little bit wide, we can say that we have reached our aim and the project was very important for all partners. RajoSwesom (Sweden): This project helped RajoSwesom to support youth engagement at the grassroots level and promote volunteerism and community development.
