FKPV was founded in 2003 and in the original strategy we set ourselves the medium-term goal of promoting international student and staff exchange. We started implementing mobility in the academic year 2009/10. Each academic year we increased the number of exchanges, both incoming and outgoing, until 2020. Promoting international cooperation was also a goal we set in the latest FKPV strategy (2021-2027), so we intend to implement all these activities (promoting international cooperation) in the future. We see great added value in this for students, staff and the institution as a whole. In the project year 2023, we set the following goals, which we have largely fully realized: Qualitative goals: - Our FKPV Strategy includes two strategic goals: - (1) increase the mobility of higher education teachers, professional associates and students: In addition to enabling mobility for staff and students, we also strived to ensure that staff and students acquire new knowledge, skills and to promote the development of linguistic, digital, intercultural and social competences. At the same time, we wanted to ensure equal opportunities for students with fewer opportunities, thereby strengthening inclusion and accessibility. - and (2) improve the international visibility of FKPV: We wanted to strengthen cooperation with partner institutions in other areas as well (e.g. scientific research, where we invited our foreign partners to participate in the international scientific conference that we organized at FKPV in November 2024; cooperation in joint projects, where we were invited by the partner institution to participate in the K2 project, etc.). At the institutional level, we wanted to strengthen the internationalization of FKPV and develop permanent partnership networks with related institutions abroad. - Strengthen digital education. - By hosting foreign lecturers at our institution, we enabled non-mobile students (students who do not participate in mobility) to transfer foreign knowledge and practices to the Slovenian educational environment. - Promote sustainable change; the project also aimed to raise awareness about a sustainable lifestyle and encourage participants to make responsible decisions, which is in line with our broader mission of contributing to a more sustainable society. Quantitative goals: - We exceeded the set number of mobilities. We originally planned 17 mobilities, but in the end we successfully implemented 18. - In terms of financial realization, we always try to spend all the funds. We managed to spend 97.24% of the financial funds.
