Objectives

In this project, we aimed to achieve multifaceted objectives that align with the broader goals of our accreditation within the Erasmus+ program. We focused on the development of individuals and organizations, as well as the establishment of sustainable partnerships. The project included three main trainings in the field of Gardner's eight intelligences, specifically on verbal, musical, and naturalistic intelligence, and one additional partnership-building activity. Each of these elements was designed to support the accreditation goals, particularly in terms of individual development, strengthening youth work, and promoting innovative methods for working with young people. Our primary desire was to empower youth workers to acquire new knowledge and skills for working with youth that encompass various aspects of intelligence. The project was based on Howard Gardner's theory, which recognizes multiple types of intelligences, enabling a holistic approach to individual development. This approach not only emphasizes the intellectual aspect but also allows youth workers to assist young people in developing their strengths and weaknesses, thereby contributing to their overall development. Our trainings provided youth workers with new tools and knowledge that helped them adopt a more comprehensive approach to working with youth. Additionally, we organized supplementary workshops in local communities, led by content trainers. These workshops were aimed at local youth workers, teachers, and social workers, connecting our international activities with the local environment and contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and strengthening collaboration among sectors. Project Objectives: Main Goal: Support youth workers in developing innovative methods for a holistic approach to working with young people. Empowerment of Youth Workers: The trainings provided youth workers with new tools and methods for better identifying and developing various types of intelligences in youth. Encouragement of Creativity and Innovation: The trainings enabled youth workers to explore creative methods, helping them offer youth approaches for expression, including verbal and musical expression as well as connecting with nature. Development of Partnerships and Networks: Through the partnership-building activity, we aimed to create lasting connections among organizations for the exchange of best practices and long-term impacts on youth work and society. Support for Youth Workers from Disadvantaged Backgrounds: The project promoted inclusion and created space for the development of skills among youth workers from vulnerable groups, strengthening diversity in youth work. Holistic Approach to Youth Work: We aimed to implement a holistic approach to youth work through the integration of Gardner's eight intelligences, facilitating a more inclusive and comprehensive understanding of youth development.
