Objectives

The goals we pursue within our organization support the vision and mission of Zavod Veles. Zavod Veles’ mission is to promote a sustainable way of life among individuals and groups through experiences, collaboration, and co-creation of space and community. We want young people to be active! To find ways to engage, support themselves, others, and the environment. Our goal is to implement non-formal learning activities where young people actively participate and connect. In our projects, we involved young people with fewer opportunities, providing them with quality support and mentorship for an empowering experience. When designing activities, we sought creative and unique approaches that allowed young people to express themselves, collaborate, and develop skills. We offered an open and inclusive opportunity, bringing freshness to their daily lives and depth to their experiences. Our strategy is based on sustainable and secure steps that address the needs of individuals, society, and the environment. The activities remained accessible and inclusive, allowing young people to express their identity and dedication to the community. They also gained valuable experience and knowledge for personal and professional growth. The activities were focused on inclusion, connection, and empowerment, aligning with the EU Youth Strategy. They enabled meaningful and innovative activities and growth through participation. Through international projects, we provided young people with multilingual and intercultural experiences. A crucial aspect of the project was digitalization, which we thoughtfully integrated as a learning experience. From the preparation to the final phase, we ensured the safety and protection of participants and promoted the visibility of results through various platforms and partner networks. These are key steps in our long-term plan, which we will continue to develop. The project was implemented according to quality principles, ensuring equality and non-discrimination in participant selection. The activities were high-quality, free of financial costs, and non-profit. Through the project, we provided financial support to young people for their engagement and co-creation of activities. The societal needs we addressed include the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, economic stability, sustainable alternatives for individual and social engagement, and fostering connections on local and international levels. Young people found a safe space for their development, expression, and participation. We prioritized their mental and physical well-being through movement, healthy nutrition, and emotional support. Organizations require high-quality staff, so we enabled young people to continue participating in projects. We supported the strengthening of youth work through relevant training and the creation of supportive content. Additionally, through international projects, we contributed to the greater visibility of the local environment and its economic stability. The project included three different rural areas, ensuring the support of three different organizations operating in a nature-conscious manner.
