The aim of the project was to contribute to the creation of more communities of young people who, through active citizenship, will have a continuous influence on what is happening in their local community. The project addressed the objectives set out in the Erasmus accreditation application in a strategic, long-term and continuous way. The objectives to which the project contributed were: 1. To better understand the needs, problems and interests of young people. 2. Create and maintain a leisure space for young people that will be visited by at least 50 young people per week (at the end of the programme period). 3. Create a cross-sectoral non-formal education programme for active citizenship of teenagers in their own local environment, involving at least: - 15 young people per year in the school year 2021/2022 and 2022/23 - 30 young people in all subsequent school years. 4. to retain 70% of the young people who participate in the cross-sectoral non-formal education programme for active teen citizenship in their own local environment. 5. To design activities and involve 10 new young people each year from the target groups 18-24 or 25-30. 6. To support other organisations in the municipality of Litija in their work with young people. To establish partnerships with at least eight organisations from different sectors that will actively address the challenges of young people. 7. Continuous training of youth workers. We want to create a quality youth work workforce that regularly upgrades its competences. We therefore want to organise 2 training sessions per year for youth workers. 8. Developing and setting up new educational programmes in nature. 9. Supporting sustainable projects and raising awareness. The project was a continuation of already implemented projects under the acredition, approved in 2021 and 2022. We wanted to maintain the quantity and the quality of the activities of previous years.
