Our project titled "BEING Resilience" aimed to promote informal education among youth on sustainable development, ecosystem-based food production, nature conservation, and empowerment for equal participation in social and economic life, as well as decision-making on sustainable and responsible practices. The project also sought to achieve the main objective of lifelong learning and informal education programs, and the priorities at the European Commission level, such as inclusion and diversity, intercultural dialogue, climate change, the Green Deal, transition to digital technologies, active youth participation in democratic processes, and civic engagement. The project aimed to enable young people to acquire new knowledge and skills in the discussed topics and empower them for their further educational and professional paths. The project focused on research workshops in the fields of art and culture (artivism), permaculture workshops on food production, and accompanying debates and roundtable discussions connecting various activities with the highlighted issue of global climate change and the need for active youth participation in addressing contemporary challenges and necessary changes.
