By implementing the project, we wanted to improve our capabilities to achieve 2 goals: 1) supporting the Wikimedia community; 2) strategic dimension of our organization's development.
We applied for the project as an international, small, virtual, nonprofit, mostly voluntary organization supporting volunteers in creating and disseminating Open Educational Resources (OER) through Wikimedia projects (Wikipedia and its sister projects). The project helped to fulfil our need to increase our impact in supporting further creation and dissemination of free educational resources using Wikimedia projects, thereby contributing to adult education and development of a knowledge society.
