Erasmus+ KA131 mobility projects have long been an established part of academic processes at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava (UCM), significantly contributing to the fulfillment of the university’s strategic internationalization goals. UCM aims to provide higher education in line with internationally recognized standards while creating added value for both students and staff. One of the key elements of this added value is gaining international experience and participating in mobility programs. The development of international cooperation in providing high-quality higher education, the support and implementation of mobilities as an integral part of professional and personal development, and the expansion of academic and professional networks are direct outcomes of these mobility projects. Additionally, these activities strengthen the university’s attractiveness to international students who choose UCM for full-degree studies. Another significant benefit is the promotion of internationalization in research and development. Mobility experiences for academic staff are significant, as they foster the establishment of new international partnerships, collaboration on joint research projects, and opportunities for co-authorship and publication. Mobilities of non-academic staff contribute to professional growth, the acquisition of practical skills, language competencies, and the transfer of best practices into daily university operations and management. Positive student feedback on mobility experiences confirms their value in developing professional competencies, language skills, and personal growth. An increasing number of students take advantage of Erasmus+ mobility opportunities at multiple levels of study, reflecting high motivation and an awareness of the benefits of international experience for future career prospects. The implementation of mobilities and related activities helps create a modern international environment at UCM, comparable to that of foreign universities. These initiatives also promote openness, cultural diversity, tolerance, and inclusion. The university is committed to ensuring equal access to mobility opportunities for all students and staff, including participants with fewer opportunities. Such limitations may be economic, social, cultural, geographic, or health-related, or may relate to other forms of disadvantage or educational barriers. By adhering to the principles of equal access and non-discrimination in selection procedures, UCM not only increases the number of mobilities but also strengthens internationalization through the participation of a growing number of international full-degree students and staff. Awareness of available support for participants with fewer opportunities is gradually increasing, and it is emphasized that this group is now more broadly defined than in the past. The university’s strategic goal remains to systematically increase the number of mobilities for participants with fewer opportunities, thereby reinforcing the inclusive character of the Erasmus+ program and its benefits for the UCM academic community.
