By implementing this project, the Catholic University in Ružomberok (KU) sought to fulfill the key objectives defined in its strategic documents: the KU Long-Term Plan (2022-2027) and the KU Internationalization Strategy in Ružomberok for the period 2024-2030. These objectives are based on European policy for the development of international relations and education, as well as on the Apostolic Constitution Ex corde Ecclesiae. The project focused on: 1. Increasing the number of student and staff mobility programmes – both outgoing and incoming, with an emphasis on expanding the participation of new participants. 2. Internationalising education through the development of international exchange activities and new partnerships. 3. Internationalizing science, research, and creative activities that support academic growth and development. 4. Strengthening KU's membership and active participation in international organizations and networks to enhance the university's position at the international level. The project also built on previous activities, ensuring the involvement of new participants and creating opportunities for participants repeatedly participating in the Erasmus+ program. We achieved this by expanding the number of partner institutions and forms of cooperation. Through this project, KU focused on developing the skills of members of the academic community, developing an understanding of cultural and linguistic differences, and emphasizing common values and goals within the European and global context.
