By implementing the Erasmus+ project, we aimed to improve the study and work environment at our university. We sought to enrich the academic and professional lives of mobility participants. The perspective one gains when discovering another country, culture, or situation always helps in better evaluating the vast amount of information that overwhelms everyone today. With each new experience a person acquires, their outlook on life and their surroundings changes. Participation in mobilities thus became both a tool and a means through which students and staff gained new knowledge and experience, expanding their “personal portfolio,” which contributes not only to the overall development of the university but also to society. Last but not least, through examples of good practice, we also wanted to motivate undecided students as well as university staff towards professional growth within their field of study or work, based on their own experiences within the Erasmus+ program. We made every effort to include and provide opportunities for disadvantaged students and staff to participate in mobilities abroad. Finally, through active communication, we sought to influence the way mobility participants travel, encouraging them to use “green” means of transportation to at least partially reduce the negative impact on the climate.
