The primary objectives of the three trainings and one mobility ECOWave, Memento, TRUTHTROOPERS, and DEBUNK revolve around empowering young people and youth workers to tackle critical societal issues related to environmental sustainability, political engagement, and media literacy in the digital age. 1. ECOWave training - Objectives: Encourage responsible behavior towards the environment, enhance understanding of climate change, and equip participants with strategies for promoting environmental sustainability. - Aim To provide youth workers with tools and methods to address ecological issues and motivate them to take action in various forums (local, national, global). 2. Memento training: - Objectives: Foster civic engagement through storytelling, challenge societal norms, and promote diversity in political narratives. - Aim: Empower participants to become active community members and develop competencies to address governance-related issues such as corruption, voter apathy, election strategies etc. 3. TRUTHTROOPERS training: - Objectives: Equip participants with skills to identify and debunk fake news and misinformation. - Aim: Train youth workers to become proactive in combating misinformation, thereby promoting media literacy and responsible information sharing. 4. DEBUNK mobility: - Objectives: Raise awareness about the effects of fake news, enhance participants' abilities to analyze and verify information, and encourage critical thinking and dialogue about media literacy. - Aim: Educate and empower young people to critically engage with information and reduce the spread of misinformation. As for all our trainings and mobilities we aim to achieve several goals: 1. Enhancement of Skills: We aim to equip participants with essential skills, such as leadership, teamwork, communication, and cultural awareness, which are vital in personal and professional development. 2. Cultural Exchange: We aim to foster intercultural dialogue and understanding among youth from different countries, promoting inclusivity and diversity therefore we involve participants from different countries, different backgrounds and from different vulnerable groups. 3. Empowerment: We aim to empower young people by boosting their confidence and self-esteem, enabling them to take active roles in their communities by role playing, switching the environment within the group, beaking the barriers, delegating different tasks and problems and empowering each individual 4. Networking Opportunities: We aim to create a platform for participants to build networks and friendships across borders, encouraging collaboration and support among youth organizations and young individuals. We also have some participants who are returning either for specific training or due to attempt to build succesful collaboration either with our organization or organizations, which are involved in trainings. 5. Project Development: We aim provide participants with the tools and knowledge necessary to design and implement their own community projects (in different areas and with different tools), thereby enhancing their organizational and project management skills. We always involve into our training practical part so therefore the partiicpants can test the knowledge and skills which they have developed during the training course or mobility. 6.Promoting Active Citizenship: We aim to inspire young people to become more active citizens, encouraging them to engage in social issues and contribute positively to their communities. In BPI we aim to focus on the open dialogue about current issues, hence we usually invite the speakers who are experts in specific areas and we nurture dialogue and exhange of opinions, which is often happening within our trainings and mobilities due to the topics, which we pick and also due to the different background of participants. 7.Sustainability and Future Initiatives: We aim to ensure the sustainability of the learning and experiences gained during the project, inspiring ongoing engagement and future initiatives, therefore we keep in touch with the participants as many of them are coming back for the further trainings. Several of them started their own community projects, NGOs and we also gave many recommendations letters to the participants who either wished to continue in studies in this area or were seeking for the job in similar area. 8.Mixing Practical and Theoretical Approaches: We aim to blend theoretical knowledge (which we gained from different research project from either Erasmus or other funding sources as the research think-tank) with practical skills to enhance the learning experience. This involves engaging participants in workshops that not only cover essential concepts but also encourage hands-on activities, simulations, and real-life problem-solving scenarios. By balancing theory with practice, participants can contextualize their learning, gain a deeper understanding of the subject.
