It was aimed to have an idea about the widespread education practices carried out in other countries and to adapt the sample practices to the functioning of the institution; to ensure that the professional staff assigned to our institution after undergraduate education receive more effective international in-service training. Secondly, we wanted to increase the motivation of the professional staff who are in risky and intensive daily routine work.
Our institution's employees are mostly professionals working in social service areas where services are provided to individuals and groups defined as disadvantaged. However, our professional staff appointed after undergraduate education do not receive training specific to psycho-social support services, but they are expected to do this job successfully as part of their profession. We met this training need with this project.
