Tarsus University was founded in 2018 as a newly established institution separated from Mersin University. From the very beginning, we have placed great importance on internationalisation, and Erasmus+ has been a cornerstone of this strategy. Through this project, we aimed to increase student and staff exchanges, strengthen our international cooperation, and provide our participants with valuable intercultural, academic, and professional opportunities. Erasmus+ is a great opportunity for our university, and we are committed to working to expand its impact every year. The main objective of the project was to increase the number of student and staff exchanges at Tarsus University and to provide equal opportunities for participation. By implementing this project, we wanted to strengthen the international profile of our institution, give students and staff valuable intercultural, academic, and professional experience, and build new links between higher education, research, and innovation. We also aimed to support participants with fewer opportunities and early-career academics, ensuring inclusiveness and long-term capacity building.
