As a rapidly developing institution, Bursa Technical University (BTU) is committed to its long-term internationalization strategy. One of our key objectives is to provide students with the opportunity to gain international experience during their studies—enabling them to take meaningful steps toward becoming global citizens, engaging with diverse cultures, and acquiring new languages. Another strategic priority is to increase the number of incoming students and staff to BTU, further enhancing the international atmosphere on our campus. Given the relatively limited number of mobilities allocated to our university, we strive to distribute available funds equitably and transparently across departments, faculties, and graduate schools. Administrative staff mobility is actively supported at the institutional level, as it contributes to professional development and international cooperation. Additionally, young researchers pursuing their master’s or doctoral studies while working at BTU are strongly encouraged to participate in staff training mobilities, with the aim of expanding their academic networks, exploring innovative practices in programme countries, and raising international awareness of BTU as a research-oriented institution.
