The main objective of this consortium project was to strengthen internationalisation efforts in higher education through close cooperation between universities and local stakeholders. By implementing this project, Amasya University and Kütahya Sağlık Bilimleri University aimed to create equal opportunities for their students and staff to gain international experience, improve professional skills, and develop intercultural competences. The equal distribution of the project grant between the two universities ensured balanced participation and a fair representation of both institutions. In addition, the involvement of Amasya Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası and Kütahya Termal ve Sağlık Turizm Derneği as supporting partners enriched the project’s objectives by connecting academic mobility with regional development goals. Their participation helped to highlight the importance of cooperation between universities, business organisations, and civil society in promoting innovation, cultural exchange, and professional growth. Overall, the project aimed to increase institutional capacity for international cooperation, expand partnerships, and contribute to the broader goal of linking education with regional and international development.
