Objectives

International and European cooperation continues to play a central role in the strategic development of Ege University, with internationalisation identified as one of its primary priorities. Within its strategic plan, the university seeks to improve the quality of education, research, and administration by strengthening its international profile. In this context, the primary aim of the project was to enhance the quality of teaching, learning, and research by promoting mobility opportunities for students and staff across all academic cycles and disciplines. For students, the project aimed to improve academic competences, foreign language skills, intercultural awareness, and employability through study and traineeship mobility. For staff, both teaching and training mobilities were encouraged to support professional development, the exchange of good practices, and stronger international cooperation. By implementing these activities, the project contributed to the university’s internationalisation strategy, fostered inclusion and equal opportunities, and reinforced Ege University’s position as one of the Turkish leading universities with the highest number of Erasmus+ participants.
