With the Veterinary Internship Consortium project, our partners and the coordinating institution, Afyon Kocatepe University (AKÜ), aimed to contribute to students' career management plans both before and after graduation, and to support them in developing skills that will help them succeed in their post-graduation careers. In addition to providing academic and professional experience to students and staff, the Consortium has also offered opportunities to gain a vision in terms of personal competencies such as self-confidence and strong communication skills. The Veterinary Internship Consortium has adopted a transparent and fair approach throughout all processes. One of the project's objectives was to find better and more reliable internship placements for students and to increase the diversity of host institutions through collaboration with partner institutions. With the core Erasmus philosophy of "mobility," we aimed to enable Turkish students to engage in cultural interaction within EU countries. Under the 2023 Veterinary Internship Consortium project, a total of 40 mobilities were carried out, including 20 student internships in 11 countries, 13 staff training activities, and 7 teaching assignments. The project aimed to ensure that many university students from various regions of Türkiye, as well as administrative and academic staff working at these universities, benefit from Erasmus activities.
