The main objective of implementing this project was to strengthen the internationalisation strategy of Artvin Çoruh University by expanding mobility opportunities for students and staff, thereby enhancing the quality of higher education and promoting intercultural dialogue. Through this project, we aimed to provide our participants with valuable academic, professional, and personal development experiences that would contribute to their employability, linguistic competences, and intercultural awareness. By participating in Erasmus+ mobility, our students were expected to gain recognition of their academic achievements abroad, improve their foreign language skills, and develop independence, adaptability, and a stronger sense of European identity. Likewise, staff members were given opportunities to improve their teaching methods, engage in international cooperation, and transfer innovative practices into our institution. Another important objective was to ensure full compliance with the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), particularly in areas such as transparent selection, equal opportunities, and proper recognition of learning outcomes. We also aimed to contribute to the Erasmus+ horizontal priorities by promoting inclusion and diversity, encouraging the use of digital tools and blended formats, and raising awareness on sustainability and the green transition through mobility. Furthermore, we sought to diversify our international partnerships by cooperating not only with EU programme countries but also with partner countries, thereby strengthening the international dimension of our university. This approach reflects our institutional mission to act as a bridge between Europe and our region in the Black Sea and Caucasus area. Overall, the implementation of this project was designed to have a long-term impact both on our participants and on our institution: building stronger academic networks, improving institutional capacity in mobility management, and contributing to the development of future-oriented graduates who are committed to democratic values, social engagement, and cultural understanding.
