Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University (NEVÜ) continued to implement student and staff mobility activities in line with the priorities outlined in the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education during the 2023 project period. In this context, NEVÜ aimed to strengthen the internationalization strategy of the institution further and enhance the quality of education, training, and research through mobility opportunities. The main objectives of the 2023 project were to: - Increase the number and diversity of students and staff benefiting from international mobility programs, ensuring equal access and non-discrimination. - Support the personal, academic, and professional development of students and staff by providing them with opportunities to gain international experience. - Establish and strengthen sustainable collaborations with partner institutions across Europe, contributing to NEVÜ’s strategic objective of becoming more internationally recognized. - Promote intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding, thereby contributing to a more inclusive and tolerant academic environment. - Ensure full academic recognition and the integration of mobility experiences into the institutional curriculum. Through the implementation of this project, NEVÜ pursued both qualitative and quantitative goals by offering its students, academics, and administrative staff valuable experiences abroad and enriching the university’s academic and cultural environment. The project also played a vital role in aligning NEVÜ’s activities with the European Education Area goals and the broader Erasmus+ internationalization agenda.
