The primary objective of our project was to strengthen the European dimension of our university by fostering academic cooperation, mobility, and intercultural exchange. We aimed to improve the quality of teaching, learning, research, and administration through enhanced collaboration with European higher education institutions. Key goals included upgrading teaching practices, refining student and staff assessment processes, reinforcing institutional quality assurance, and promoting creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial skills. Through international training and continuous professional development opportunities for our academic and administrative staff, we sought to have a lasting positive impact on the quality and competitiveness of our education system. We also aimed to represent our university and our country effectively within the European Higher Education Area, ensuring the optimal use of the funding provided. A central focus was to expand our network of inter-institutional agreements with universities across Europe, creating new opportunities for cooperation in education and research. We worked to ensure mobility opportunities were accessible to students and staff from a wide range of academic disciplines, with the goal of meeting — and where possible exceeding — the planned targets for both student and staff exchanges.
