Objectives

During this 26-month period, it is aimed to manage the grant allocated to us in the most effective, fair, transparent and appropriate manner. BAU had a very productive project period thanks to the additional grant we requested due to the students' intense interest in the project. We know that it is a great opportunity for our students to improve themselves and their foreign languages by experiencing different cultures and having the chance to live abroad for a while, and for this reason, we encourage our students to participate in mobility activities. At the same time, we are trying to do everything we can to provide grant support to our deserving students. Thanks to this program, our academic staff experienced the European education system firsthand at prestigious European universities. Even for a short time, they experienced the responsibility of taking an active role in European education. For administrative staff, the obstacle of remaining reserved in internationalization was eliminated, and the inclusiveness of this project across all its activities was reinforced. This was a period where project strategies were at the forefront. The integration of our application systems into fully online (TurnaPortal) platforms was fully embraced by students and staff, increasing both system controllability and trust. The reduction in paper flow helped reinforce students' and staff's awareness of a green future. Institutional presentations during the application process emphasized the program's strong acceptance of disadvantaged individuals. This made the Erasmus program an option worth considering, rather than one to be avoided.
