The Erasmus Programme provides Bitlis Eren University with the opportunity to send and host students and staff, offering participants the chance to live, study, and work abroad. In doing so, it enables them to develop the individual, academic, and international competences required in today’s global environment. Interaction with the students and staff of host institutions broadens participants’ horizons and deepens their cultural understanding. At the same time, Bitlis Eren University is able to involve its researchers and staff in European and international projects, access additional funding opportunities through Erasmus, and bring together academics from different countries to develop joint research and projects.
