Objectives

As part of its internationalization strategy, Sabancı University has long actively participated in Erasmus programs, fostering student and staff mobility as well as research and academic collaborations. Within this context, the Erasmus KA131 Project aimed to provide our students, faculty, and staff with opportunities to engage with diverse cultures and academic environments, enhancing their international experience and improving post-graduation employment outcomes. The project also sought to strengthen academic and industry partnerships with our consortium partners, offer high-quality internships and learning opportunities that prepare participants for professional life, and encourage active involvement in the project to gain valuable experience. To achieve these objectives, we held regular meetings to share information and ensured that all activities were implemented in accordance with the Erasmus+ Program Guide and the Erasmus+ Implementation Handbook published by the Turkish National Agency. Furthermore, grant support was provided to increase mobility for students with special needs and facilitate their international experience through a sustainable funding mechanism. Best practices gained from mobility activities were shared within the institution, contributing to the improvement of practices at the faculty and departmental levels.
