Objectives

Our university is committed to developing robust policies to strengthen internationalization, which is essential for effective and successful higher education institutions. The benefits of international-level activities and collaborations are manifold: raising academic quality, expanding research networks, increasing international visibility, introducing new perspectives and strengths, creating an inclusive learning environment, and supporting the development of academic, professional, social, and intercultural skills among stakeholders. Projects and mobility activities under the Erasmus+ Programme are prominent and effective tools in this context. Through active participation in these projects, our university makes steady contributions to the internationalization strategy in line with our strategic goals. Among EU funded education programs, Erasmus+ stands out as the most well-known and least bureaucratic to implement. These projects and mobility activities not only foster the academic and professional development of students and staff but also strengthen international participation, future employability, and cultural awareness. They have enriched our institutional capacity and global perspective. As we adapt to the transformational elements brought by the new Erasmus+ phase and reflect on the experiences gained from the successful implementation of KA131, we anticipate broader opportunities for collaboration. Both in general terms for mobility projects and specifically for this project, the following goals are set: • To sustain systematic access to international experiences for students and staff; • To institutionalize internationalization as a reality, thereby increasing learning quality, awareness, and career opportunities; • To broaden mobility opportunities and bring learning outcomes and academic standards closer to international norms; • To deepen research and educational collaboration through international networks; • To strengthen cultural awareness and multicultural competences; • To reinforce a global perspective to enhance employability and career development; • To raise institutional visibility on the global stage and promote mutual learning through dialogue among stakeholders from different cultures. In short, we aim to establish a sustainable international mobility ecosystem that both enhances individuals’ knowledge and skills and strengthens institutional competitiveness.
