The main objective of the project was to strengthen the international dimension of Alanya University by promoting active participation of both students and staff in mobility activities. Through these opportunities, we aimed to foster intercultural dialogue, enhance cooperation with our strategic partners, and further integrate our institution into the European Higher Education Area. We wanted to create an environment in which students and staff could acquire new skills and competences, broaden their perspectives, and actively contribute to the internationalization of our university. A particular focus was placed on ensuring inclusivity and equal access, enabling participants with fewer opportunities to benefit fully from the Erasmus+ Programme and aligning with the Programme’s core priority on inclusion and diversity. Our goals included: • Increasing the number and quality of mobilities, both incoming and outgoing, to support the personal, academic, and professional growth of participants. • Strengthening international partnerships and building lasting networks that contribute to knowledge exchange, collaborative projects, and institutional development. • Promoting cultural exchange and raising awareness of European projects and common values among our academic community. • Empowering students to become responsible, self-confident, and engaged global citizens with improved language skills and intercultural competences. • Supporting staff development by enhancing their teaching, training, and research capacities and enabling them to actively contribute to the university’s international strategy. • Contributing to regional development by creating stronger links between higher education, research, and business, and by positioning Alanya University as an active player in international cooperation. In the long term, our aim was to establish Alanya University as a modern, inclusive, and internationally oriented institution that not only provides high-quality education but also serves as a model of best practices in internationalization. By achieving the objectives of this project, we intended to set an example for other higher education institutions and to demonstrate how international mobility can enrich individuals, strengthen institutions, and positively impact society as a whole.
