Galatasaray University (GSU) has been successfully implementing Erasmus+ student and staff mobility projects since 2003. Founded through an international agreement between the Turkish and French governments, and embodying a commitment to cultural and scientific cooperation, GSU has embraced the mission of fostering an educational environment that promotes international collaboration. The University’s pursuit of excellence in teaching and research is reinforced by encouraging individual mobility and strengthening internationalization in a competitive academic landscape. Active participation in the Erasmus+ Program and alignment with the Erasmus Charter principles contribute significantly to these goals by supporting new collaborations and enabling agreements not only with Program countries but also with Partner countries. This project therefore aims to generate long-lasting and wide-ranging outcomes, demonstrated through the recognition of learning achievements, the multilingual education model, the establishment of sustainable structures and opportunities, and the development of cooperation projects. Furthermore, the Erasmus+ student and staff mobility project plays a key role in advancing GSU’s internationalization strategy.
