The main objective of our project was to contribute to the internationalization strategy of Aksaray University by creating more opportunities for students and staff to gain international experience and competencies. Through student mobility for studies, traineeships, and short-term doctoral mobility, we aimed to enhance the academic, professional, and intercultural skills of our learners, increase their employability, and foster their sense of European citizenship. By implementing staff mobility for teaching and training, we wanted to strengthen the professional development of our academic and administrative personnel, improve the quality of education through the exchange of knowledge and teaching practices, and support the modernization and internationalization of our institution. Overall, the project sought to promote intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding, and the development of key competences such as language skills, adaptability, and openness to diversity. In line with the objectives of the Erasmus+ Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility program, we aimed to build sustainable cooperation with partner institutions, improve institutional capacity, and contribute to the creation of a more inclusive and knowledge-based European Higher Education Area.
