Objectives

“Erasmus+ and Ecotourism” The consortium primarily aims to enhance the knowledge and experience of students who can take theoretical courses in their departments under the themes of “Sustainability” and ‘Ecotourism’ by providing voluntary consultancy services from project partners Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University, Cappadocia University, and the Professional Hotel Managers Association (POYD) under the heading of “participating organizations.” In addition, thanks to the opportunities provided by the consortium, it is expected that all beneficiaries will be able to identify the differences in ecotourism understanding between Northern and Southern Europe through the activities of partner institutions in Turkey and the experience they will gain in Europe. It is anticipated that university students who are partners in the consortium and who will benefit from these opportunities will gain awareness of ecotourism and contribute to spreading social awareness about the transition to sustainable tourism in the institutions where they work throughout their careers. Based on all these explanations, this project aims to implement student internship mobility with the goal of involving young people in the labor market during the transition to sustainable tourism and enabling them to gain experience in European institutions that have been able to adapt more quickly to the circular economy action plan. Thanks to the consortium, students will increase their awareness of ecotourism between our country and Europe through their activities at our partner institutions in Turkey and the internship experience they will gain in Europe.
