The main objective of implementing the 2023 Erasmus+ Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility Project was to strengthen the internationalization strategy of our university, to establish sustainable cooperation with European higher education institutions, and to provide our students and staff with international experiences. Through this project, we aimed to support the academic, cultural, and professional development of our participants, thereby ensuring individual gains while simultaneously contributing to the institutional growth of our university. Within the scope of student mobilities, our goal was to enable participants to broaden their academic perspectives by studying in different educational systems, to improve their foreign language proficiency, and to enhance their intercultural communication skills. Furthermore, students were expected to gain self-confidence, develop adaptability to different situations, and improve their problem-solving capacity. In this way, it was intended that our students would increase their employability after graduation and become more competitive individuals on a global scale. In this context, 30 students benefited from study and traineeship mobilities during the project period. In terms of staff mobilities, the objective was for academic staff to observe different pedagogical approaches, enrich their teaching practices, and develop new academic and scientific collaborations. For administrative staff, the aim was to examine good practices at European universities, strengthen their professional skills, and adapt innovative management processes into our institution. Accordingly, 10 staff members participated in teaching and training mobilities, contributing to both individual and institutional capacity building. At the institutional level, our project contributed to increasing the visibility of our university within the European Higher Education Area, strengthening existing collaborations, and expanding our partnership network with new agreements. In addition, it supported our quality assurance processes and created a foundation for the more active involvement of different faculties in international activities. In line with the inclusiveness of the Erasmus+ Programme, special attention was given to improving access to mobility opportunities for disadvantaged groups, thus contributing to the principle of equal opportunities. Overall, by implementing this project, we aimed to enhance the academic, cultural, and professional qualifications of our students and staff; to increase the international cooperation capacity of our university; and to become an active, visible, and sustainable actor within the European Higher Education Area. In the long term, it is expected that this project will contribute to the signing of new agreements, the development of joint research and education projects, the enrichment of our curricula, and the strengthening of the culture of internationalization within our institution.
